On Sunday, March 28, 2010 Fotomission and Tropicolor will host the 6th South Beach Photomarathon at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden. As with previous Miami Beach photomarathons, the term ‘marathon’ is used loosely, this time only six topics needing to be photographed over a period of five hours.
As usual, the topics will be kept secret until the event day and will be purposefully vague to give the contestants plenty of room for self-expression. The best photos from each topic will be selected, and from those the first, second and third place winners will be awarded cash and other prizes. The top twenty-five entries will also be exhibited at the Tropicolor Gallery during the month of May.
